Jesus said: Just as the days of Noah were, so shall my coming be. There will be wars, and rumors of wars, Earthquakes in different places that are not known to have them. People will be getting married and Drinking and going on as if everything is alright. There will be Pestilences and Famines. ~~~ All of this is just the "BEGINNING" of sorrows. I have thought that, just what if One of my favorite Actors could be the antichrist? Arnold S.? Just a thought. Then when we least expect it, As the Lightning strikes from the East to the West, Just as the people mocked Noah and his family, then will His coming be. Now that really made me think, but you have to go on to read for yourself the WHOLE chapter 24 in Matthew to get the TRUE meaning of it. Some of this has already happened back in those days and only a few things are left to happen now, from what I read and seem to get from it. When that Temple is rebuilt again for the LAST TIME in Jerusalem, And the Anti-Christ is in that Temple and PROCLAIMS that he is God! BE READY!!! FOR JESUS WILL COME AROUND THIS TIME. Makes me wonder, What was in those clouds?In Matthew 24 it talks about the end of the age, plus some other things.They Killed Jesus and it will soon come to the day when they will take away the Bibles and guns, and control people just as they are over cigarettes, and I am not a Smoker. You do not have to look around very hard to see how close it is to the end of the age. Jesus tells us that NO-ONE knows when, but I believe it is not far off, maybe 2012 or sooner, that Temple has to be rebuilt, but with todays technolidgy that could happen within a Month or so. I HAVE LOST A 26 YEAR OLD NEPHEW IN JUNE 2004 AND ANOTHER NIECE ONLY 2 YEARS OLD, SHE WENT HOME ON JULY 31st, she had a heart attack. A huge, brand new, job-providing, property tax paying mega-store planting itself on the edge of the community. And did I mention huge? And amazingly low prices, too! Get the kids! Let's go shopping! And they did. Suddenly that widget at the downtown hardware store could be had for a mere .95. Incredible! Film developing at the local camera shop was way too expensive now. Prices at the market down the street? Forget about it! Too high compared to the brand new superstore. And the convenience! Food, car batteries, electronics, books, beer, clothes, jewelry, and more, and more, and more. The local unemployed lined up for the new jobs, thrilled at their fresh prospects for a steady paycheck and the self-respect society confers on those with a job. So what if it pays only minimum wage, with minimum benefits... It's a job! The vast parking lot overflowed, the "deals" crowded like cornucopia in consumers' carts, and all was well in their world. Well, sure, there was that "Going Out of Business Sale" sign that appeared in one of the downtown store windows. But only one...well, maybe there were two or three after a while. But no worries. It happens, you know, very sad to see them go, but after all, their prices were always a bit high, so it's no wonder they went under. The independent bookstore, a fixture for 30 years the store that people had deeply woven into their life stories - gone. The owners - your neighbors, your friends moved away, disheartened and disillusioned. The hardware store, that ancient edifice, the old paradigm of personal, knowledgeable customer service-gone. Same with the sporting goods store. One by one, the downtown core, the heart and soul of the business community, dying away. And gradually, as stories of fear and financial failure from friends and acquaintances spread through the town, people finally began to wonder. How did this happen? Why are there no jobs anymore with decent wages? Why are the lines at the unemployment office growing even longer? Why have I lost touch with so many people I used to see downtown every week and share the local news with? Why do I have to drive all the way to the edge of town on a busy stop & go street just to buy something I need? Too late. This town, this community of decent, hardworking people, was addicted, and they didn't even know it. Having sold their souls to Walmart's company store for a cheap consumer high, their fate was sealed. They never realized they were degrading themselves, their friends, their families, and their community - just by going shopping. THIS GOT ME TO REALLY THINKING. This all makes me wander about, What is next? You would think that the next thing that they might want us to do is, to scan our hand or eyes or something? During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the 1.Roman Catholic, 2.Protestant, 3.Muslim faiths, who explained each of their belief systems. The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video. ~~~OUESTIONS AND ANSWER TIME~~~ After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers. When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked: "Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel? There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, "he replied, "Nonbelievers!" I responded, So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can go to Heaven. Is that correct? The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He sheepishly replied,"Yes." I then stated, "Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Stanley ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to Heaven!" The Imam was speechless. I continued, "I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me. Let me ask you one more question? There is a "why" at the beginning and a Question mark at the end. You don't ask Questions...And as long as I am shooting straight with you___I don't like to see the word abandon, either. The source of Life...Abandoned? The giver of Love...alone? The Father of it all...Isolated? Come on. Surely you don't mean it. Could Deity feel abandoned? Could we change the sentence a bit? Not much. Just the verb. What would you suggest? How about challenge? "My God, my God, why did you challenge me?" Isn't that better? Now we can Applaud. Now we can lift banners for your dedication. That must of been a horrible moment. I know what it's like to be touched by sin. I know what it's like to smell the stench of that stuff. Remember what I use to be like? Before I knew you, I wallowed in that mire. I didn't just touch sin, I loved it. I drank it. I danced with it. I was in the middle of it. But why am I telling you? You remember. You were the one who saw me. You were the one who found me. I was lonely. I was afraid. Remember? "Why? Why me? Why has all this hurt happened?'' I know it wasn't much of a question. If you lost a family member in September 11th attack, you're going to get an average of $1,185.000. The range is minimum guarantee of 1,185.000, all the way up to Four point SEVEN Million or more. If you are a surviving family member of an American Soldier killed in action, the first check you get is (Six Thousand Dollars,) direct death benifit, half of which is taxable. Next, you get $1,750 for burial costs. If you are the surviving spouse, of an American Soldier you get (833)-Eight Hundred and Thirty Three Dollars a Month until you remarry. And there is a payment of -Two Hundred and Eleven Dollars per Month for each child that is under 18. When the child hits 18, those payments come to a screeching halt. Keep in mind that some of the people are getting an average of $1,185 million up to Four.Seven million and complaining that it's not enough. Everytime a pay raise comes up for the military, they usually recieve next to nothing of a raise. Now the green machine is in combat in the Middle East while their families have to survive on foodstamps and live in low rent housing, Make sense? However our own U. S. Congress just voted themselves a raise, and many of you don't know that they only have to be in Congress one time to receive a pension of that is more fourty seven thousand per Month, and most are now equal to being Millionares Plus. They also don't have to pay Social Security on retirement because they didn't have to pay into the system. If some military stay in for 20 years and get out as E-7, you may receive a pension of $1,000 per month, and the very people who placed you in harm's way receive a pension of fourty seven million per Month. I would like to see our elected officials pick up a weapon and join ranks before they start cutting out benefits and lowering pay for our sons and daughters who are now fighting. "When do we finally do something about this?" If this doesn't seem fair to you, get the word out, tell your family and friends. With their wives drawing ,000,00 during the last years of their lives. This is calulated on an average life span for each. Their cost for this excellent plan is 0. These little perks they voted for themselves is free to them. You and I pick up the tab for this plan. The funds for this fine retirement plan come directly from the General Fund--our tax dollars at work! From our own Social Security Plan, Which you and I pay (or have paid) into-every payday until we retire. (Which amount is matched by our employer)--We can expect to get an average of $1,000 Dollars A Month, or less, Usually Six Hundred 0r Eight Hundred per Month, after we retire. Or, in other words, we would have to collect our average of $1,000 monthly benefits for 68 years and one month to equal Senator Bill Bradley's benefits! Social Security could be very good if only ONE SMALL CHANGE were made. And that change would be to jerk the Golden Fleece Retirement Plan from under the Senators and Congressman. Put them into the Social Security plan with the rest of us and then just watch HOW FAST They would fix it... When 70% of the people who get arrested are black, in cities where 70% of the population is black, that is not racial profiling, it is the Law of Probability. I believe that if you are selling me a milk shake, a pack of cigarettes, a newspaper or a hotel room, you must do it in English! As a matter of fact, if you want to be an American citizen, you should have to speak English! My father and grandfather didn't die in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come over and disrespect ours.
